Last day of relaxation

  Wow, can you believe the weekend is almost over! Hubby is out hunting for the illustrious buck, and I am on the computer of course :-)! Looking forward to pancakes and sausage patties for breakfast very soon, I am making myself hungry just typing about food............then it's off to spending time with the kids and hitting the hay around 3pm - working 2 jobs for a couple of weeks (3rd & 1st shift,) can you say tired???? It will be well worth it in the end, I don't think I have stopped smiling since I got the news about my office job! 
  Anyways, off to the sweepstakes. Looks like maybe my dry spell is over - I won a book this morning! Here's to hoping!

Wish list improvement project for this summer

  I have been wishing for a chicken coop for about two years now. I am hoping this is the summer that it happens! We are currently going through over 3 dozen eggs a week and buying chicken 3X a week from the grocery. We own 7 1/4 acres - what a better way to be self-sufficient on the need for these products than by building our own chicken coop? Plus it would be great for my daughter, who just recently joined 4-H.

A cordless framing nailer would be great in the fact that we would not have to do all the labor manually - my husband would greatly appreciate this giveaway! Marshall, our new addition to the family

  A Labradoodle! This is my son's Christmas present - all he could say was, "It's a dog." Basically, he was speechless! We found Marshall, our pup, through petfinder.com. It is a wonderful program, and best of all it was easy to set up a meet and greet with our pup before actually saying this is the one.

Wow, so I have started a blog!

This will be a trip, definitely a learning experience! The wonderful world of the internet, lol! Now I just have to learn how to navigate, hehe.
